My rear wiper flips up around 100mph - how do i fix?
i've heard of this happening to other people in 3g tegs, too. how do you guys keep it from happening?
How do you fix it? Don't drive 100mph!
What need do you have to go that fast? That's good for a 30+ ticket at least. What's the point?

Yes I agree you should probably slow down.
I'm not sure if this will work or not. On the underside of the wiper arm there is a spring. Try replacing that spring or the whole arm. That should be what tensions the wiper blade down.

you should probably slow down. but since that's not the answer you're looking for, buy a new one. you probably have worn out the spring tension that holds it in place. otherwise, remove it and cover the hole.
Haha, I was going to say, "Are you driving the autoban? Slow down!" but i think everyone else killed that reply. Anyways, that spring in your wiper is weak/bad. You'll have to get a new one wiper assembly. Take a look at it, maybe you can ghetto rig something up.
You could add a BIG roof scoope and wing. That would make the air go around your wiper.

actually you would want air to go onto the wiper. its the lack of air above the wiper that causes it to raise up. blow directly over a penny, itll fly in the air. same concept.
that being said, get a mini gtr wing from a RC car and deflect air down onto the wiper

I removed mine completely and plugged that sucker up.
It looks much cleaner.
And, doing a 100mph isn't wise.

Actually, that's only 25 over around here. Typical speeds are 80-85, but it's pretty easy to hit 95 on some long downhill stretches between Phoenix and Flagstaff.
As for need, when you're in the middle of the desert and there's absolutely no civilization for 100 miles, you want to get where you're going as fast as possible. I imagine it's even worse in places like Wyoming or Montana. Think about it: if you drove 100mph instead of 80, a 6-hour trip would only take 5 hours.

gotta love all the friendly advice
anywho... i was testing out my wipers at about 170-180km/h a while back, they all seemed to work okay. I don't have a rear wing, i spose there is a chance that that effects it.
any of your people with the problem rinning wingless??
