Hi folks

i've been thinking of fitting a Quaife LSD to my 91 CRX VTEC (UK SPEC) in the United Kingdom they cost about £500 (650USD)

Do any of you guys know if there's somewhere in the USA i can get 1 cheaper?

I've also wondered if there's any other Hondas that i could get a full transmission from with the LSD that would fit straight onto my B16A1. I know that the Integra Type R & EK9 Type R have LSD's but would they fit?

I'm not 100% on where... But I'm pretty sure you can get the Quaife for around $200US

I got mine for a bit under $400CAD brand new through the local import shop. Big improvement in handling.

Are you sure you got a quaife LSD?
I bet you've got a phantom grip LSD convertion, not the real Quaife.
If you do and you can still get it, please let me know, I'll buy it now!
The cheapest you can buy it ion the US is around $750.
If the Quaife LSD were $200, I would have one on each car and a few on my closet.

I'm 100% sure I got the real thing...

But I messed up on the price.

It was just under $400USD, not CAD. I got it on a deal (group buy type thing) from my buddy's shop.

Surely not, the wholesale for those things are probably like $650-700 USD and how can you get them for less than wholesale? Earl on here sells them for $795 USD and that is a good deal.

the price on the quaife had dipped to about $650-$695 about a year ago. i'm not sure what its at now, but I paid like $750 with a hookup (that no longer exists, so don't ask me where you can get the same deal ).

Just got my bank statements in the mail literally this morning.

I never intend to buy *hot* parts... but now I'm starting to wonder if perhaps this was.

I'm gonna look into this.
