Dynomax or Magnaflow
Dynomax mufflers are closer to OEM size then Magnaflow. Magnaflow will hang a bit lower. Other then that both are awesome mufflers, great construction. If you go with Dynomax make sure its a straight thru design. All Magnaflows are straight thru.
For sound, Dynomax is more raspy. And Magnaflow is deeper. I've got the Dynomax for that incognito look

I have a dynomax on my hatch too, I love the sound of it. its not a straight thru though , its called a super-turbo. 2.25" inlet, and 2 X 2" outlet
I have some pics too, so ill post em up for ya
sitting on my basement floor
on the car, bumper was off at the time and I was doing a bit of rust-removal, but its all better now

I would definiltly go with the dynomax. A friend of mine has one on his gsr (01SilverGSR) and it sounds awesome. Also every mangnaflow muffler ive heard is raspy, espesially when the engines cold.
i just got mine done last week.. a dynomax.. 2.25 all the way back from the bpipe... sounds a lil louder than stock in the upper rpms.. and it looks stock..
with my car stock height and with the stock 13inch steelies on it.. ya wouldnt think there was a b16 in this HF.. Sleeper

how does the dynomax flow compared to say a ractive canister?? I have a dynomax on my b16 hatch right now and i like the sound, but i'm going lsvtec and will sacrifice it if the canister i have sitting asround will make more power. I have 2.5 inch piping all the way back btw.

Dynomax all the way, $30 compared to $70+ for a Magnaflow.

Put a small resonator into your exhaust setup and the raspiness is completely gone. I was upset once I got my Dynomax, but I put a resonator on for $40 and it is one of the cleanest exhausts I've heard. I have a 2.25"in/2.25"out and it looks completely stock.

http://www.bestautopartsonline.com has good prices. They can get other magnaflow mufflers not listed on their website as well
