Default ... b16a oil pan with b18c1... will it work?...

... will an oil pan off of a b16a work on a b18c1?... i was told that it will bolt up, but i am just wondering if it really bolts up with no problems or if there are any other issues i am missing... lemme know... thanks...

no, it will not fit. the crank girdle gets in the way.

what happens if you add a girdle to a b16? what would you do?

what happens if you add a girdle to a b16? what would you do?
I guess you could do some cutting and welding on the b16 to make it fit. If you switch to the b18c pan, you have to change pick-ups also.

It's the tube that bolts onto the oil pump and sucks the oil from the bottom of the pan

b18c pan will work on any b series though just fyi...b16a/ls wont work on anyhting but there own motors
