I CANT DECIDE prelude-turbo/ls turbo or Pvtec-turbo/Gsr turbo
i cant decide what to get/build how does a prelude turbo compare to an ls turbo. how does vtec react to turbo's even with higher compression r they better for that sense a Pvtec-turbo/Gs-r turbo. i just want imput what do u think?
you should build up the bottom end on a h23 nonvtec motor then turbo it. the compression isnt that high and it has more diplacement then a ls/vtec which is most likely a b18.
If both motors are built and boosted, there is no replacement for displacement.
Edit: VTEC provides a small fuel tuning issue, but it is not a big deal.

VTEC actually hinders performance on a forced induction motor due to the cam profile overlap. On the endyn superchargers they actually disable vtec. If you saw the article with the twin charged meguiars type r (turbo+s/c) you could actually see a small dip on the dyno chart when vtec was engaged. How big of a dip? In my opinion, its not that big of an issue unless you are a top drag racer and every little miniscule thing is critical.
