I ran a search but no luck...Anyway, I'm helping my friend do a DX to Si motor swap on his 90 Civic sedan. We did a DPFI to MPFI conversion too. Wiring harness was ordered from Hasport and we just followed the included instructions. Motor started up but we're getting a code 16 and motor runs really rough. I wanted to retrace my steps and double check Hasports' wiring. Can someone post a MPFI swap wiring diagram or any input is greatly appreciated.
my 88 4 dr did the same thing, i unpluged one of the injector wires and it ran fine but i still get code 16 (this was after two weeks of tinkering)!!! i dont know how that fixed things?!?!?! all i know is that it runs.. good luck!
k i am having problems also sometimes with my MPFI
do this...
take ecu and hazard fuse off.... unplug all the inyectors... with a ohmeter check resistance on the inyectors... it should be between 1.5-3.5 ohms...
if not under specs change inyectors... if not then proceed...after checking all ohms on all injectors, disconect the fuel line feed, so the pressure of the fuel rail goes down and the fuel press regulator goes into normal state....
after that make sure all spark plugs are dry and not wet (flooded)
after all its clean and checked, proceed to put the plugs bacck in... make sure fuel line its tight, make sure u put fuses back in....after that turn engine on.... it should go the mis fire away.. my car its being smoking white (rich) 4 times now.... i ido all this and it goes away ... IMO the ecu gets the idea i am running lean and richens out... if it revs on N with no problems then u problem its solved... dont drive it right away .. give it a few minutes so all the fuel on the exhaust and piston chambers gets all burn out...
let me know if it helps

does that mean you're running on only 3 injectors? Anyone else?
code 16: injector wiring, your wires are mixed up. double check your stuff. make sure you put all the injector wires where the directions told you 2. if you are still having problems you can run you own wires straight from the ecu to the injectors,
