Default who has problem with wheel bearings?

my R has 22K and it started to make some noise on the driver side front. Brought it back to dealer, and the front wheel bearings will need to be replace (under warranty), just wonder if anyone else have similar problem?

find this thread in searcrh. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=155692

is there any way I can check and see if all wheel bearings are in good condiiton before I go to the track?

thanks,
CS

Yes, shake the wheels while the car is on the ground and see if there's any "free play".

Jason-
who has replaced his driver front once...

Just to add, I think Willard had some pics/illustrations on the subject.

not all bad wheel bearings will show free play in the hub.

my right front went about 700 miles ago, lots of play and some weird noises.

my left front went about 100 miles ago, no play at all but some crazy whack noises.

car has 34,000 miles.

They're a wear item (under warranty is nice too).

I have a feeling as R's get older this will be a common problem, like the pop-open glovebox

i've had to replace both side about six months ago. easiest way would be jack the car up, and spin your tire, if you hear any noise coming from the hub, it's your wheel bearing.

my experience thus far has been the exact opposite. I've been through a few more bearings btw...

nah, wheel didn't fall off, if it did, the car likely would have spun right into D's car.
