anyone have recommendations on a shop to do a swap in the LA area
Sup,
haven't posted in a while...
my stock engine on my 91 DX HB is nearing 200,000.
when i bought it last year i said i'd drive it until it dies and it feels like it's about to give out so i'm interested in doing a swap.
i know for sure i do not want to race this car as it's fun just to drive around town and up and down cold water canyon on a daily basis.
after doing research about what swaps to do ultimately it's based on my budget but what i'm interested in finding out is what shops out here do a good job as i have no skills in taking out and putting back an engine.
anyone with any info about shops please post.
i'm also looking for places NOT to go or places that do good work on daily driven cars instead of race only cars...passing smog is also a factor.

atomic.. is "ok".. nothin special....
holeshot performance 714 772vtec does pretty good work, and honest guys.. b16s are 2300 or so
