Default Pics & Opinions of (H&R Sport/Eibach Sportline/Tein S. Tech) springs on civics

Have done a search and many people don't say what they have or they'll have coilovers, but I am sick of my coilovers and want good spring. Want pics of what topic says preferably on 92-95 civics but will take anything you guys got with one of the three brands. Also, what do you think of them performance wise and ride wise. Looking for good drop that is just above tire without tucking and not a lot of camber problems. Just ate up my tires really bad and threw sparks off them on freeway returning from SLC, and I cant raise coilovers anymore cause they are stuck/stripped. Thanks guys. Now lets see some pics and opinions.

Yeah, that would be tizite!
Anyone with pics or even just comment on any of the springs. I want to know how you guys like them, how they ride, and what kind of performance.

So, nobody on H-T has/had a 92-95 civic with H&R Sports, Eibach Sportline, or Tein S-Tech springs? Nobody even wants to flame me? Wow, I am sad

Hey, thanks. But I just wanted to see a pic of the car with them equiped to see how it looked overall, and how the fenders sat in relation to the tires. You didn't need to take them off, but I guess it gave you something to do huh. Thanks anyway. Now put them back on and show me pics of whole car with them on. How do you like them?

I got the H&R Sports for my integra, and imo-- the rear isn't low enough, or maybe i did something wrong installing them. I'm not sure, but we'll find out once i get my struts on.

I'd reccommend H&R Race springs with a good shock probably AGX. I had H&R Race springs on my '99 Si and I loved them, but I got a great deal through the shop I worked at for a set of Ground-Control coilovers. I like the Ground-Control because I can slam the car at a show. I like the H&R Race because they rode better and I never had to worry about setting them back at the correct height. Also, whatever you do make sure you don't skimp on buying the proper camber correction kits.

I had the H&R sports on my Si but just switched to Tein SS coilovers. I was running KYB AGX struts with the H&Rs. The sports are a little higher in the rear which I personally like. In the front, there was no gap between the fender and wheel well and the rear had about a finger width. Here is a pic. (note, my car is really dirty in this pic, I just snapped a quick pic). This is a pic with the H&Rs. I have since installed the Teins along with some wheels and other goodies which Ill have pics of soon. Anyways,

I cant compare the ride to the oter two as I have never ridden in them. I had my struts set at 3/6 and the ride was solid. Hope that helps.

I have H&R Sports w/ KYB AGX struts on stock 13" VX rims. I'm happy with them.

I have H&R Sports with Tokico HP's. I've been on this set for about 2 years and am very happy with it. L.A. has very poor roads, lots of bumps, metal plates, holes, etc. and with 17's they work well for me. I auto-x occasionally and canyon drive often.

edit: like someone above said, the front is about flush with about 1 finger in back. I like this stance over the level stance of like Eibach's. H&R tend to always be a bit lower in front for every application. If anyone rides in back, then it's level

here's mine with eibach sportlines. I'm in love the eibach...have them on my coupe my hatch and my brothers crx, i wouldn't go for any other spring. I don't scrape at all even on the tough bumps.

Mine are H&R Race, but I believe that they are the same spring rates.

I have H&R sports on my crx and Iike them the bestof all the set ups ive had.I had Eibach pro kit on a eg and i didnt like them very much. The H&R are nice springs. I reccomend running them with good struts. Tokico Illumnas or Konis.

Honestly since most of the time people dont like Sportlines because they sag or drop more than usual or uneven drop...

The alternative to Sportlines would be Progress Springs
Why Progress??

Well they are identical to the Sportlines when it comes to drop and as well they have a nice comfortable smooth ride identical to the Sportlines but no known problems have been reported with them and handling charcteristics are very very nice...

If you want a 2 inch drop front and rear I would go with Progress Lowering Springs...

mix them up with either KYB AGX or Koni Red and you get a really smooth and excellent handling car.
