- I want to ensure that it fits behind the bumper (after I cut most of the grille out)without removing the rebar.
- I don't want it to hang so low that it sits below the stock lip
- I want maximum exposure to open air
- I want to minimize pressure drop

I have the choice of two intercoolers, both with 2.5" inlets/outlets:

1. Core = 20" x 8" x 3" (total length not including inlets/outlets= 26.5")
or
2. Core = 22" x 6.5" x 3.5" (total length not including inlets/outlets= 30")

Bigger is better....usually. If you can fit it go with the larger of the 2. Only downside the larger I/Cis that you may have a slightly higher pressure aross the I/C.

i would choose the second one...

i think mine has a length of around 28" and it shows the inlets and outlets which don't look very good...

i wish i didn't have to cut away at the grill on my hatch... it would've hidden it way good.
