What your views on carbon fiber hoods? I got a silver civic with gunmetal rims. I think it would look tight but my friends tell me no

for a silver car c/f hoods look good...i have gunmetal wheels on my car (red) and i was planning on painting it silver and getting a c/f hood

 

I have a cf hood on my bluish silver sedan. Looks very very good, but I have bronze wheels, not gun metal.

 

Cf hoods usually look good on any color car!!

Which company makes good cheap strong carbon fiber hoods. I need one for my car, the hoods got a lil damage, it was there when I bought it tho, just a few dings, but enough to make me want to replace it. Are they all strong, or is it just a few, cause this is gonna be my daily no telling what might happen.

 

they look really clean on silver cars. make sure you get a good one though. fiber images look really good, make sure you get it with uv coating.

I have a VIS hood on my white EG and I have black Rota Cirsuit 8's. I like it.

 

i had a vis (oem style) on my silver car with black slipstreams and it looked really good until it got stolen

 

 

A friend on mine had a silver 00 EX with CF hood, and gunmetal rims. I loved it, especailly with a black SI lip. I say get it!

 

what's the price differnce I know the Benen is like 600 but it only weighs 9 lbs. What about Fiber images and VIS???

 

bah...spend your money on something that makes you go fast. Carbon fiber hoods are a waste of money.

 

It does make you go faster, it makes our fwd heavy cars handle better in turns and a lil in the straights IMO

 

This guy asked for our opinion on how it would look...Do you really think he gives a **** if his car runs a 16.54 instead of a 16.56.
