Default Quaife LSD's?

Does anyone run one of these? I just saw on their website that the one I need is on sale right now for $695 (down from $895).

How does the install work? Do they install it into your gears (which I've heard is what's done) or is completely up to you to do the whole install?

I've never ordered/installed a LSD before so please excuse me for asking n00b like questions.

Mr Search revealed the following to me:

The LSD is bought and then installed into the tranny (by either yourself or you pay someone to do it for you) - Final Drive Gear is what attached to the LSD. It can be a pain to do.

That's a good price on a Quaife.
Just pay a transmission person to do it.
They'll order a shim kit and install it instead of the stock unit with with some fresh bearings.

I'll be running one in a GSR tranny in my TurboITR.
