Need help with injectors
I have a 90 crx si w/ 88 si motor trannny and harness that I have been prepping for scca ITA class the past year. I have been trying to start it but i'm not getting fuel. I think the fuel injectors are not getting the signal to work. What sensors may be affecting this and why? Thanks for any help!
Make sure your injector grounds are bolted down w/ clean connections and also you can crack the line on the fuel rail a little and turn you car to the on position to see if you are actually getting pressure.I you do not you have a fuel pump problem.I am not sure if any sensors would tell the injectors not to pulse. most likely if it ran before then you did not hook up something correct, just a thought if you do have pressure try to adjust your distributor while you are cranking it.let me know what happens.
If you're sure it's not getting fuel...
Listen for the fuel pump running for about 2 seconds when the ignition is first turned on.
Check fuse #37.
Check the main relay.
Check for power at the injectors. (the ECU grounds the injectors to pulse them)
And, obviously, check all the wiring related to the injectors.

i have pressure to the fuel rail, my eye stinging told me that it was fuel that came out. also i just replaced the pump and tank and the pump can be heard working. so it must be between the fuel rail and the injectors. tonight i will un hook the return line and see if fuel shoots out.
