90 hatch gauge cluster
I have a 90 hatch with a gauge cluster that doesn't have a tach. I want to put one in that has one, i have one right now sitting, i think it came from another hatch, but the plugs are wrong on the back. which cluster do i need, how much, and what about the speed sensor.
You may have one from an 88-89. Also does it say Denso on it? If it does thats an 88-89 for sure. You need one that has a little NS symbol on the bottom of the speedo face.... That means its from 90-91.
If anyone thinks I am wrong please let me know. This is just something I have observed looking at 88-91 civic clusters

I put a used gauge cluster into my 91 hatch, it came out of a 90 Accord. i think anything out of a honda from 90-91 will fit.

Hey do u have pix of the 91 Accord tach in the civic...I want to see that if it really works...
Responding to the forum's question...I have a 89 DX and it does not have a tach on the cluster...i had to use a 88-89 civic/crx Si or Hf cluster...those two models have a tach in the clusters. You will need a 90-91 Si or Hf cluster...

The great thing about Hondas is that everything is pre wired! Go out and find yourself an Si gauge cluster and plug it in. Or do what I did and get an SiR gauge cluster!

thanks dudes! i'll let you know, but your sure there plug and play? i thought that if the car didnt come with a tach that it needed to be hooked up to an electronic speed sensor. if it works fine, i'll by it right now.
