Default How better off would i be?

Ok i want to get my zc installed about a week after christamas. But i am thinking i should wait and get new pistons. I have been looking at roller wave pistons, and i was wondering how much more power i will get out of them. I have been planning on just putting the engine in without even changing the head gasket. But i fear if i do that i will blow the head gasket. Then have to put more money in to fix that. Have any of you zc guys installed you zc without changing the head gasket? Did it hold up ok? I have about $1200 to spend. And i will have to pay someone to do all this. (i don't have the tools, space or time to do it myself. and i am like the only person that is into imports where i live.) So what do you think my best alternative is?

rollerwaveas are suppose to be pretty darn good, if you're going for n/a i say go for it, but if you're gunna turbo and don't have the turbo i'd say wait. You might also wanna looking into building up that head, maybe some cams or possibly p&p and oversized valves or something along those lines, that will give you more power overall

I have never done a ZC swap but i have done a few LS swaps and it was always a good idea to replace some of things that you would need to change in the future now since the motor is out especially with the $1200 that you have to spend getting a new timing belt, water pump, headgasket, thermostat, belts. Would be a good start. Goodluck!
