ok could some of you with clean 92 and up sedans post some pics
my girl and i have a kid and we are selling her 240sx and looking
for a sedan for my lil boy to ride in. oh motor swaps are the same
as with hatches and coupes right?
just want to see some possibilities before i spend any $$ on some
thing i may never like. thanks alot

so we are dumb for wanting a 4dr car. right excuse me for not wanting a SUV which look like a station
wagon on riods. i just want to see a few of them hooked up so i can give them some thought , so as for
being pathetic . now to his own ive been told so kiss my big -------toe

 

sedans are nice and all...but if you have a kid i would get something newer if your wallet can supports it like a 95 - 99 Explorer or Rodeo or something...especially if you want to do a swap...it might not always be reliable to take the kid to school etc......but good luck !

 

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're tramping out some chick and pumping out illegitimate kids because you want to see some possibilities before you spend $$ on something you may never like. LOL....IMO i think having a child and buying a car are two way different things because if your a responsible person...you'll stick with the girl and support the child...But when you purchase a car...it is pretty common to see other people with the same car first before you make an investment...I hope someone can understand what i just said lol....

Hi--I'm a mature adult with a relevant opinion.

Go for the sedan. Your engine swap options are exactly the same as a hatch. As are most other mods. I plan on doing a B20Z EK sedan soon, for use as a practical beater/people mover.

The sedan is safer than an SUV in terms of rollover, braking, overall handling and crashworthiness (cars have crash requirements, SUV's do not). Get one w/ dual airbags, though. Besides, SUVs completely suck.

Good luck, and do something cool with it.

as for whitemike....i say the 4door civic or accord are you're best bets in the honda world, then again 4door teg's are really nice too, just a lil' pricey and rare.....good luck with whatever you come by, and make sure it's got AC so that kid doesnt suffer in the back seat like i used to... lol.....

 

i'm very happy with my 97 EX sedan. easy access to the rear and not many people want to mod a 4-door. Here's mine (the pics don't do it justice ... it's a lot more fucked up in real life -- scratches, touch-up paint everywhere, etc. ):
