Default ***-Heavy

I went out for some spirited driving today... and my car feels ***-heavy. Integra sedan. When I am braking it feels like the rear end might break loose and start coming around or something... it just doesn't feel like a neutral weight balance. Which is odd, because the weight is more up front in FF cars like ours isn't it?

And will adding a JDM ITR Rear Sway Bar to my car only increase this tendency?

Ben

Yes, the sway bar will make your *** end more likely to come around. The sway bar makes the rear more "stiff", but in turn makes it makes it easier for it to break.

i noticed that is if your in a turn and you lift off the gas the *** end feels like it's going to come around try having more of a neutral gas pedal(on the gas)through the corner or maybe be on the gas more.it's a wierd feeling but once i got it down you can us that to your advantage, like if the car starts to push lift off the gas and the back will come around.

When you push your car that far, then let off the gas, you are transfering more weight to the front. this makes traction break free from the back because there is less weight on the tires. Same thing if you hit the brakes while turning.
