i fixed mine myself and if i can do it, anyone can do it... i bought a hanes manual for the teg when i first bought it, i'm waitin on my helms for xmas, but i used that and got the master cylinder from napa, it was really easy, took me about 45 minutes b/c i broke the little pin on the clutch pedal and had to go to auto zone to get another one

Ditto.
It's pretty easy. If you get an aftermarket or discount OEM master cylinder, you'll come out way ahead of paying the dealer or a shop to do it.
Post if you have any questions about the process. Since they tend to go out at ~80-90k miles, plenty of people have experience replacing them (including me
).

I juust found out its a recall on 98 tegs!...how can i claim this at the dealership?
If I cant do it...Ill be more than willing to do it myself....can you post DETAILED...or pm me DETAILED instructions how to do it...thanks for the help!!
