I'm sleeved but running the stock bore size. I figure itll be stronger with more meat on the cylinders thats why i didnt go oversize.

stock sleeves .020" so I could fit my JE pistons in.

not boosted yet so I can't give you much info on cooling. W/o boost and a blockguard, I'm running really cool though.

D guys usually get a break on pricing for various reasons. What did your sleeves run you?

after i am done with my block, it will be 77mm. i have heard that the biggest GE recommends for boosted blocks is 78mm, and after that, the walls become too thin between cylinders. 77mm with stock stroke (90mm) will put displacement somewhere around 1.7 i believe. i did the math a long time ago. i just bought my spare block and tore it down yesterday, but im trying to decide GE or Darton for my sleeves.

on street applications we recommend to limit at 77mm.
we are desinging turbo and all motor applications for the D series on a 77m bore at this time. should be available in february.
