Default power question

ok i'm installing a dvd player, monitor, and fm modulater. my question is can i run those 3 power wires off the same wire that my deck is running off? or will it suck all the juice and make my deck weaker? i'm also running my boost and a/f gauge power off the deck power wire. so that would be 6 different things (including the deck) that will be powered by that 12v ingnition wire that is supposed to be used by the deck. i'm not sure on how circuit power goes series or parallel or watevers, but my question is will this setup work fine or should i find a different power source, and if so where?

I would run a new wire from the battery and fuse it according to the amp ratings of the individual components added together.

If you want to power multiple items from the accessory wire and are worried about current draw use a relay.

Oh yeah, go to the accessory wire at the steering column, the big fat on, that way it can handle the amperage/voltage.

You could ghetto it and bump up the fuse for the radio at the kick panel. But then you run the risk of damaging equipment or possibly catching that thin wire on fire.
