Default painting taillights

Where, and what paint do I buy to paint my tail lights "smoked". Any directions on what to paint and where? Ie outsite of the lights, inside, white and red, or what. How many coats, etc.

Hey dude, I smoked my 99-00 OEM's with a $3 Axius windsheild tint strip from Walmart.

It's pretty damn easy, just follow the directions for putting it on a windshield and you'll be fine. This is better than painting because if you don't like it, you can take it off.

Nah, I just slapped em on the bottom. I'm still ****** around with finding out what looks best... I might not even keep em on... like I said, it was a $3 experiment

I might try tinting the top too, the red looks pretty good tinted, but for right now I like em

No no no, it's a tint spray not paint. Check your local hobby shops, the ones that sell remote control car bodies, they should carry it.

try posting questions like this in the appearance forums unless you actually expect to go faster with smoked tailights.

For the curious people, the tint spray is called ' Nightshades ' You spray on as many coats as you want to get the level of darkness that you prefer.

try reading the forum rules. Once you're done, try figuring out why there is an appearance forum on honda-tech.
