Does anyone here own the model mentioned above? I remember reading an article on it in Super Street a long time ago.

Does anyone have scans of this article, and others like it? I would like to learn all I can about this Penske special edition EK Civic.

From what I remember about them...

I think it was in SCC. I also think they were based on EX coupes.

They had all the usual hookups--I/H/E, 17" wheels springs/shocks and some cosmetic stuff. Nothing wild--the pitch was that you could buy a 'hooked up' car and have it all able to be financed.

This was crazy stuff for 1997.

I get the feeling it would be hard to find one in its pure showroom state. I doubt it would be very collectable either.

i know aem had a 99 si package you could buy with 17in rims/tires, aem exhaust (yes it was made for a while), cai, cam gears, pulleys, some engine dress up crap, and aem lowering springs. it was rediculously priced but the i guess the key was it was all dealer installed and maintained a full warranty. i have the scc issue laying around if anyone needs specific info on it.
