I had the NEX fully adjustable coilovers installed on my car and it's lowered about 2-3" (Stock 15's are almost flush with the lip of the wheel well). I need a camber kit so that I can get an align ment but I don't know much about the quality of different name brands. I seen some generic ones on ebay for $10-$20 and some name brands for $80+ Is it necessary for me to go expensive with this part? Money is an issue but I still want my $hit to be reliable so what do you all suggest? Generic or name brand?
Buy a good kit like ingalls for the front. For the rear, use the washer trick

Don't use cheap camber kits or this could happen to you...

OK I'm a little lost after visiting the other thread you took me to. I have the fully adjustable coilovers on mine but "Nick M" said to get a "fully functional" suspension. Is that what I have? (it came with coilovers and shocks) He also said to make sure your toe was in check? How do I do this with my kit without getting a camber kit? Is the ingalls kit reliable and good enough to prevent what happened to you "Stew"?
You have a fully functional suspension. Replacing the coilovers and shocks is your best bet. Your toe is the direction in which your tires point. (looking from the top) Your car's toe may look like this / \ due to lowering it. You must get an alignment to correct this. It will then look like this | | . Improper toe will chew the insides of your tires up rather quick. The ingalls kit is supposed to clear the inner fenderwell, but I'm not sure. The rear just use the washers for the best results. Just don't put to many washers on without getting longer bolts. I believe they are 10x1.25 metric bolts. Good luck finding though (no one around here has heard of metric). I would say that my incident was more isolated but it can happen to someone else if they buy cheap stuff. Just remember your life is riding on those parts...imagine if your wheel broke loose at 85MPH...

You said I have a fully functional suspension. Then in the next sentence you said "Replacing the coilover and shocks is the best bet" I don't understand. Why would I replace these if I have a fully functional suspension? Would I have to replace them if I wanted to be able to get the alignment without having to get the camber kit?
Or are you saying I should replace "mine" because the nex's aren't good?
