Toda C's vs. D's
Can anyone explain to me the main differences between these 2 cams? I know to have either one you must have a fully built engine with high compression pistons, headwork, etc. Which one is more beneficial to road racing or drag? Which one puts out more hp? How steady is the power curve on each one? Which one can be daily driven with and keep a steady idle? Or any other usefull info on these cams.

the D's kill the valvetrain and should really only be used for full race applications ... the spec C is more daily-driver friendly. Power difference between the two is significant, but one is a full race cam with a lot more lift ... constantly have to check spring pressure too.... hence not for the everyday guy.

I once saw a NHRA Pro-Stock Team at my local drag strip, and the main thing they did after every run was check valve spring pressure. They had this awesome little clip-on tool and measured it really quick using leverage. I always wondered if such a beast was out there for Hondas.
