F&%@ O2 sensor!!!!!!

Default F&%@ O2 sensor!!!!!!

i can't figure it out...i've got an o2 code. i replaced the o2, reran the wires to it, replaced the ecu, and tried the o2, and the ecu in my eg, and the worked find..

WTF is going on?!?!?!?

BTW, it's obd1 4-wire

1 more thing, it throws the code before i even start the car. when i just turn the key to the on position... it does these same things with every ecu i try in it

Did you reset the ECU? Dissconect the neg battery cable for a few minutes
and replace it.

CRT-T - while back when i first joined there was a post about 4 wire 02 sensors. Someone was telling me even when they run right they will sometimes throw codes. I wish I could get some more info on why I keep getting a engine light myself even though the 4 wire 02 on my A6 solved alot of the bogging troubles I was having at low RPM. I'd clear the ECU as mentioned then give it another go. After that only thing I could think of is ground maybe? Course judging from your dyno post it can't be affecting the car that badly hehe. Anyone have a clue on why the 4 wires leave codes i'd like to find out also?

lol...i feel like a dumb ***...i didn't know the light sequence for a obd1 car, and it was a code 10, not a code 1

was able to fix it in a matter of minutes
