Does anyone know where to get a skid plate that would work well for a 4-1 on a B16 88 CRX? I was thinking that it might double as a heat shield for the pan.

I managed to scrape the header on something the other day, fortunately not too badly.

Gotta get this figured out cause I'm planning to lower slightly.

the only skid plate to my knowlege is the one that comes on the jdm itr header...

Does or will the skid plate work on a aftermarket header like the DC Sports 4-2-1

 

Considering it bolts up to the JDM header, it's not gonna work without welding it or strapping it on there.

 

i think i am going to make a front crossmember that drops down far enough that it would hit before the header would, at the very least it would be a warning that you don't have enough clearance to continue forward.

 

See I can usually tell if I'm not gonna clear it, it's when I don't see a speed bump or dip in the road that I'm screwed. I actually did miss a speed bump and destroyed my oil pan once. This was on stock blown shocks though.
