Default B16b conversion on a civic 2001

What would you guys think of a B16B conversion on a 2001 civic sedan lx? Any conflicts or major changes I will need to make on the car? Or could I do a fast and easy swap? Also, anyone have an estimated cost of the engine + labor for the swap? Thank you.

If a D-series can fit in there, a B-seires *should* be able to fit in there..

umm... i don't think b-series motors can fit into the new 7g chassis. i remember reading that it was tried and unsuccessful because there wasn't enough clearance somewhere for it to fit.

dude, get a k-series into that biatch... hasport is making mounts you can use in addition to a RSX or 02 Si subframe to put a k-series into your 7g civic.

JDMHONDAPARTS.COM is selling a 02 Si iVtec motor for $4000 in the used parts section. I dunno how you are gonna do the shift linkage part though...

The engine is pretty expensive.

For a sedan, just get a b18c1

Even with a RSX motor swap in a new Si, it would get smoked by an EG w/ a GSR/R swap. Best advise, sell it build your own!

if you insist then do a rsx swap as suggested. The HAsport mount kit is almost out so if you want more power and don't want to trade it in, this is the way to go.
