What do you think is a really good cat-back exhaust system for a turbocharged EK Civic hatch?

Large diameter mandrel bent ones.

Suggest one without a Resonator (interupts flow and takes away power)

 

Apexi N1 full cat 3" piping or tanabe racing medallion...tanabe hyper medallion works good too

 

get a custom.

I have a friend with a TII (second generation RX-7) that runs 12 psi, and he got a TIGHT 3 1/2 inch mandrel bent exhaust (turbo back). the cool thing is that it has a very restrictive muffler, with the stock tip. and the entire bottom of the muffler is a trap door that he can open and close from inside the car. so it sounds tame, cops dont give him ****, and when its time to lay some rubber, the muffler opens up and it sounds NUTS.

Do all of these sound good as well? Obviously function is more important, but I'd also like one that doesn't sound like a kazoo in a coffee can.

 

CUSTOM is way cheaper and functions the same, just requires a little work on your part

 

I didnt think that you could run an exhaust for an EK hatchy on a turbo hatch becuase of the downpipe....unless you run no cat?? Can somebody clarify this for me??
