D15B7 error?
i was looking into a few performance parts to put into my 94 civic lx, and went out to check the engine block number. it says d15b7 right there on the block. it's a 1.5 liter, 16 valve engine. heres what i think is strange:
i have the honda&acura perormance handbook, and in there, it says that the engine that i SHOULD have is only an 8 valve. is there some typo in the book, or was there a 16 valve d15b7 as well? its an american model, bought and lived in Oklahoma its whole life, and is automatic(soon to be swapped for manual).
whats going on here?

hmmm, i think its unlikely. i bought it from a 60 year old woman who bought it at the dealer which was literally right down the street from me.... should i take it somewhere or is there a way i can check to see?

yeah mine's an LX sedan, like i said, and it definately has 16 valves, guess the book was wrong, funny, it seems unlikely they would misprint that one.
any idea on the HP on these? for the lx?

I am pretty sure dude, I have taken both motors apart... actually.. I still think I got those heads laying around somewhere...?
12 valves are used on alot of the older hondas.
