Ok Im looking to purchase a new car and found a Prelude in my area that I may be interested in. I may be going to take a look at it soon, so if any of you could tell me what I should look for on a car like this. Common trouble spots that I could take a look for on the lot?

The car appears to be selling for under what it is worth...so that worries me that it might have some unexpected problems. Would any of you be able to run a carfax on this vehicle?

sounds to me like its got a ton of miles. notice that there is no mileage listed. The only thing that I've found wrong with my lude so far is that the antenna mast was worn out. check to see if the antenna goes all the way down. other than that, they're reliable cars. Even though its an auto, shift into all gears, make sure the shifter isnt "sticky". Also test the strength of the e-brake a bit. when cold, my car can out-power the e-brake at idle. not a good thing if you're not paying attention you'll just drive with the brake on. good luck, looks like it could be a steal to me.
