Default Integra Type R

Bought the car used and the stereo seems very weak. This is not of the upmost importance to me,however,I would like to improve the sound quality a bit. My question is what is the biggest shortcoming of that set up? I don't really want to do an amp and I would like an amber display. I know amber is almost exstinct, but thought you guys could give me some help as I haven't bought stereo stuff since I was running a Fosgate Punch 45 in 90'. Thanks in advance.

I would throw some infinity's in there. All depends on your price range too. Headunit i would go with alpine, kenwood, or pioneer. Not sure about an amber display, like the factory look i guess you are going for?

Nakamichi has some nice amber head units. Throw in some nice components in the rear and a good set in the front and you're set to go.
