Hi, everybody. I have a '86 Prelude 2.0 Si. It's engine has 12 valves and PGM-FI. I'd like to change engine head to other one with 16 valves, so I need some information. Maybe somebody knows what engine is in my car (BT, A20A3 or b20 series), and what head (from what engine model) will fitt, it would be SOCH or DOCH?

i believe you have the bt motor. the b20 motor is the third gen motor 88-91. those are dohc motors and would take a lot of work to put one of those heads onto your block. your best bet is to just leave that motor alone or do an entire engine swap.

 

i'm pretty sure u got a A20A3. unless its DOHC. if its DOHC its prolly the b20. but most likely its a A20A3
