I'm looking to smoke my taillights and apply a new clearcoat, any advice on what I should buy? Thanks

 

I belive most users just use a dark drey or black paint.

Most automotive stores will have paints, but some stores have DECENT paint.

dont use paint, use tint spray. I got mine from a hobby shop

it's called niteshades or maybe niteshadez....search on google or something

 

I bought this stuff from Summit racing in Reno, NV. It was $6.00 a can. I used it on my old 6th Gen Civic Tails (4 DR) - it made em black! I swear, two and a half years later - they were still tinted, but not as much.

 

paint it from inside or outside the lights?

 

alot of paint can be found at hobby stores. try those places first.
