zc swap.....distributor wiring? plz help
I swapped the zc motor into my '88 dx hatchy. When i tried to start it, all it will do is turn over, i'm not getting any spark. So far I've replaced the distributor, rotor, and wires.
I have spent many cold nights working on this car, please help. Thanks.

Try hooking them up color to color. Look on your carside harness to get the best idea of which wire is what color, then on the distributor side there should be two rows of wires where the wires enter the distributor. One row will have 3 wires the other will have two. On the row of three, the white one on the end is "WHITE" and the white one in the middle is "WHITE / RED". The rest of the wires you should be able to just look at. My dizzy wiring wouldn't allow my car to run right for a month or so, but then when I did this process it started on the first try.
yep, i sure did, i just got back from double/triple checking the connections.
could it be possible that the ecu is bad?? cause i dont see the LED blinking.

Which ecu are you using? I hope its not the DX ecu, because it wont even run with that ecu.
You need to get a Pm6 (si) or the PG7 (88-89 teg ecu manual)

my crx did the same thing, but at first it acted like it wasn't getting any fuel...
anyways after taking off the gas tank, replacing the fuel filters, and fuel pump, i discovered some copper wires lose on my ignition...
check for that it might be!

Did you hook up the cylinder position sensor on the exhaust cam?? C1 and C2 to the ECU forgot which pin goes to which color. Did you add B10 and B12 and connect it to where C1 and C2 use to run into the engine bay??
