my wipers go on intermittent fine....then if i wait a little bit i can put them on low...but it takes a good 5-10 minutes for them to go on high when i turn the **** whether my car is hot or cold. i have to hold the handle down until they decide to go on!
any suggestions....???

either the motor is junk or the control is messed up. of course, that is probably not a cheap part either. the wiper switch on the steering column may need to be replaced. i would start by trading motors with someone who does not have a problem like yours to see if it is the motor or if you need to replace the swtich.
