People with real experience with 15" Azenis?
OK, finally have a leak in one of my old tires, so I'm fully using that as an excuse to get new ones.
I've got: 90 crx si, 15" ssr type x's, dropped with Eibach pros.
Now, is there always rubbing with the Azenis? Are they worth it? If not, any recommendations on 195/50s? TIA.

I have 205/50 Azeni's and they'll rub in the back on a real hard turn, I think that once I get new shocks and replace my stock blown ones, there wont be so much body roll and it wont rub. I'm dropped on Skunk2 coilovers so can't really give you an esitmate on how much it's lowered, but just to give you a general idea. And they're very nice tires

Thanks for the info, guys. I'll probably be picking up some Drop Shop lcas.
Just had the rust taken care of on my rear qpanels this year, and not too comfortable with rolling them.

I have 205/50 Azenis on my GSRs and a 2" drop. I haven't had any problems with rubbing. Also, I'm using Honda shocks, and some pretty stiff springs.

how do you guys like them in the rain? are they THAT terrible?
in the rain I LOVE mine , they grip like crazy.
standing water is another story.
Excellent auto-x tire. I wouldn't buy them if I weren't auto-x'ing/road racing though, doesn't make any sense. Never rubbed, grip wonderful (rain as well). I have ~6000mi and 7 auto-x events on them and still have over half tread left.
Damn, even more info. Thanks!
Well, I went ahead and ordered 'em. They're getting put on Thursday. I'm crossing my fingers that there's no rubbing. Looks like about half of those here have rubbing, but we'll see.
Thanks again for the info.

i have 195/60/14 azenis and so far i love them....car is alot louder now though cause thoes tires pick up every rock in the road

i have azenis 205/50/15 on a set of mr5's 5 x 6. i didnt have any problems with rubbing in the rear at all, just the fronts. havent rolled my front fenders yet, waiting for new suspension. im currently riding on stock struts with eibach sportlines. the front is dropped a lot more than the rear, and i think its because of my b16. i have really bad camber wear on the fronts....these tires are pretty sticky, and i think they are 200 rated, so they wear rather quickly especially with bad camber, but my rears are still in really good condition. its been raining pretty hard the past day in s. california, i felt semi confident about driving in the rain, but would have felt more confident if it werent for the lack of tread from the camber wear or maybe a different set of tires. overall, great tire. but not great wet, they hold up though. great grip on dry pavement.
I have 205/50/15 Azenis and I love them. I will NEVER go back to a 195 EVER again. As for rubbing, I have had no problem. But then again, my car is not lowered.

It does sound like that it's the CRX's that are having problems with them rubbing, but not the hatchbacks. And as for the grip in the rain, it's great. Except for hitting puddles at high speeds.

Azenis and EF/CFX dont mix. Go with something else. Mine rube their nuts off during cornering.
Just like Model X said, what is the offset of the wheels you guys that are rubbing using? If it's the correct offset and you are not lowered too much, they won't rub.
Damn, now you guys have me all paranoid and sh*t.
There was a guy at the Long Island meet with them on his 1st gen - he said that they rubbed a little, but he was ok with that.
I guess all questions will be answered tomorrow afternoon. I'll post results afterwards.

Don't worry about it. You will probably have to roll/cut the rear fender on a crx (I did and I'm running them on +40 Rota's), but now there's no problem. I just wouldn't lower too much. I'm running on H&R Sports and I wouldn't go lower than that. My car still has acceptable camber all around without a kit (my alignment showed -1.8 front, -.8 rear) and if you rotate every oil change (and run conservative toe out in front-that really wears the tires more than camber) you are unlikely to experience uneven tire wear. BTW, these tires amaze me. If you really care about handling, the few small sacrifices you need to make to run these tires are totally worth it. The turn in is amazing, the grip is unbelievable, and the wet traction isn't as bad as everyone makes it seem. They are as much tire as you will ever need on the street. Plus, they're cheap! Win/Win. Get them.
