h22 pistons in f22?

Default h22 pistons in f22?

just wondering if this can happen.

H22 has a bigger bore than a f22. you'd have to get the block bored out, as well as have the combustion chambers matched on the head. You ~may~ have headgasket sealing issues as well. If you were thinking H22 slugs were cheaper and thats why you wanted to use them, then forget it. the block and head work raises the price a good bit.

edit: wristpin location might be different as well...not sure.

well since the h22 rods are a wee bit longer than the accords i have the same quizzical befuddlement of wristpin location

F22/h23 rods are longer than the h22

I would sleve the block for h23(87mm bore) then use H22 pisons

Best combo...

I'm pretty sure it's the other way around - h22's being longer by about 1.5mm
