Default Civic Type-R Piston Question

I am going to be putting CTR pistons in my B16A. For the wrist pins and rings, are the USDM/CDM GS-R, ITR, Si(R) ones the same parts or is it a CTR exclusive part?

GSR and ITR piston rings are the same as CTR's. The wrist pins should come with the pistons, but GSR/ITR pins are the same.

I have had many people who were sure this was the case with the rings but were not 100% positive. Are you sure? I didn't think the wrist pins came with the pistons though.

I have purchased two sets of ITR pistons from the dealer, they came with wristpins.
I used my ITR pistons rings on a set of CTR pistons that I put in an LS/VTEC-compression was perfect, no oil consumption. I have seen numerous dealer bought pistons, all come with wristpins.

That's great to hear. I'll be ordering my CTR pistons with the wrist pins and then get the rings from the dealer. I am going to check the SiR part number to see if it is the same as the GS-R/ITR as it would cost less.

SiR rings are the same!
