Help ASAP!!! my car died after i hooked up my system...didnt start
this what happened...i finish installing two amps and re-ran my wires...everything was perfect at first...then the ground wire to the amp for my subs was loose...two or three threads were hitting the speaker terminals right next to it...it caused some sparks too...so i turned off my car and went to work...after 5 hours...i went outside and turned on but no ignition whatsoever...i want to know what caused my car not to turn on...and i had to jump start it with cables...can yall tell me some solutions and what i need to do...i really appreciate it THANKS GUYS
you amp might be wired incorrectly and it is stayin on when the car is shut off.. you need to run the remote wire so the amp is only on when the headunit or car is on.. you also might have a bad amp and its pullin power from the battery when its not supposed to
i went to AutoZone just a while ago and bought a new battery and installed it...car starts up just fine...everything back to normal...i was wondering if my alternator or starter might be a little messed up??...because the old battery was checked at AutoZone and the machine said it was a "GOOD BATTERY"...i spoke to the manager and he said that the starter could be messed up...THANKS GUYS
