Default JG/Edelbrock Intake manifold... WHICH THROTTLE CABLE ?

I have the JG/Edelbrock Intake manifold on my b16 head.

Which throttle cable am I supposed to use? I tried the LS... didnt work. I tried type R and the Type R peice that holds it.... didnt work.

So which throttle cable or other peices am I supposed to use?

Im my crx with a gsr motor, I used the type r bracket with a ls cable. It doesnt line up perfectly though. You can also use the gsr TB bracket with a gsr cable. That way all the mounting is done on the tb...

Will an ITR throttle cable and bracket line up with a GSR throttle body pulley? It doesnt look like it will. Honda doesn't sell parts of the throttle body seperately either.

I've got a 99 si and I'm using the stock cable/bracket. It's angled a little bit but it works flawlessly.

Is it on the throttle body or the intake manifold? Can you post a pic?

I modified the arm that bolts to the intake manifold to hold the throttle cable.. worked like a charm, did the same on my friends aebs intake mani setup.

really? I was trying to do that and I couldn't get it to work... I bought an integra bracket using the b16 cable... still didn't work...

here's my integra bracket that has more mods after this pic to make it work

the cable is pretty much where it needs to be in the pic. I have it close, but there's still some angle... who ever said the integra bracket bolts right up is full of it...

I'd like to see pics of 99bluesi cable/bracket... cause the stock one has the mounting tab on the opposite side from the pic above, making it way off.

Not the greatest picture, but the stock cable/bracket/throttlebody all work together on the Victor X.

Il try and do that...
Its mounted to the IM, the bracket I made just moves the stock bracket to the left about an inch.

It looks like the Si throttle brack does NOT need to be modified.
turbosi03 - why did you modify yours?
99blusi - Did you stock FPR fit in that position once the injectors were installed?

i put the regulator on before I put the rail on. I had to put a little bend on the bottom piece to fit the fuel return on, but it works great.

I have an Integra GSR. I am using the GSR bracket and cable but it doesnt allow me to run my strut tower brace because it hits. Thats why I want to cable it from the side.

Exactly what I did.... and it works great. I also used an LS throttle pulley on my GSR throttle body.

Mine is a 99 SI throttle bracket and cable and it had to be modified to work with my GSR manifold.
