Should I heat wrap my Toda Header and AEM ITR CAI? worthwhile?
I was wondering if I should heat wrap my Toda Header? How much does the tape sell for and where can I get them cheap?
After I remove the heat wrap would my header look crappy?
Would it cause the Header to crack due to higher temps being insulated?

I wouldn't do either.
Insulating the intake is pointless because the air is moving through it too quickly to have a chance to absorb much heat.

iirc......once you put the tape on there, it pretty much doesn't come off. of course, that could be completely dependent on what brand you get.

If that was true, intercoolers would not work.

CAI is no prob, header will crack eventually regardless of quality.
Intercoolers are intended to cool air that has been heated from being compressed by some form of forced induction, not to keep heat from transferring to air travelling through an intake.
No, I haven't tested the heat wrap under drag racing conditions (which would be about the only way to measure a difference in performance for that particular mod). I am not an avid drag racer and I must admit that I was thinking purely in terms of street driving.

Yes and how do you suppose that air gets cooled in an intercooler? Through conduction and convection heat transfer.
Same thing applies to your CAI. I think wrapping your CAI is worthwhile especially if you have a tubular header.

Yeah, but an intercooler has a whole lot more surface area than an intake t00b. And it's mounted in a place where there is constant airflow forced through it, not where the air is more or less stagnant.
Exactly...so as your CAI gets hotter, guess what cools it...the moving air inside the tube.

So if the air flowing through the t00b is sufficient to keep it cool it stands to reason that insulating it would only serve to trap heat longer.
