how much is safe on a d16 w/.....
Im building a newer d16y8 longblock for a turbo set-up to put into my ex sedan and so far i have decided on the greddy kit. lately i have seen people only run about 5.5 psi on it, but with the internals im adding im wondering how much boost this things gonna handle? eagle rods, wiseco pistons, metal gasket, skunk cam,and possibly springs and ti retainers. As for my fuel:b&m fpr,aem rail,rc 310 injectors. sorry for the long post!
Your limiting factor in your set-up (as you listed) is you injector size.
310 cc is quite small for the power that that hardware can take.
the other guys run 5.5 psi because they have stock internals.
But with the set-up as you have posted you can run 8-10 psi. (small injectors)
That hardware with say 550cc injectors could handle 15-18 psi.
oh yeah, don't forget to buy a good fuel pump. Walbro 255hp
A few other items: ARP head studs. Hondata ECU crack (enables you to re-write
the factory chip to run big injectors and boost, i.e. no piggyback stuff).
You could play the high fuel pressure/small injectros game if you wish
instead of buying big injectors...

I'd go with a larger turbo, larger injectors and a Hondata. Those things in addition to what you've already listed could make a lot of power.
