JDM header/cat problems
plus the stock cat has a 2 1/4" inlet and the header will have a 2 1/5" collector, plus I believe the bolt holes on the flange wont line up properly, it's wider on the JDM header

Actually, you can use the stock cat. You just need to weld a 2.5" flange on it and you may need to shorten your B-pipe.
Now whether you'd want to go to all that trouble and still have a somewhat more restrictive converter is for you to decide, but I had to point out that it can be done.

You will need a cat, you can go with a Carsound, or other types of Cats. Many people have Carsounds, but they seem to fail on most people, mine still hasnt. Or you if you want you can just use a test pipe.
If you want to pay a ridiculous prices on the carsound cats you can contact those people mentioned above, (which i did and regret).
Or you can go to a muffler shop and they can get one for you for a fraction of the cost.
