we dont use arc welding in autobody, instead we use migwelders......arc welding will warp the **** out of your panels, or maybe even punch holes in it. JB weld??? Use it at your own risk

Arc welders are used to weld very thick metals, an example: metal structures for buildings.

Mig welders are Electric and are wire fed and are comonly used in the automotive industry. The ones we use in autobody, are combined with a shielding gas to make the welds "pure" and prevents oxidation during the welding process. Combinations of wire speed, tempeture settings, shielding gas settings, and welding techniques all determine how your weld is going to hold up and look.

Again, JB Weld??? Use that at your own risk. I'm about 85% sure that your bodywork will crack someday.
