Default Good to have PCT pistons in 98specR short block?

Did anyone of you do this before? If so what kinda thing do I have to do to make it fit into a 98specR short block? Like changing the rods?

Or is this impossible to do?

My target is to build a motor with around 11.5-12:1 CR. And I think PCT is a cheaper alternative to achieve hi CR I guess?

CTR pistons in B18C will raises CR to 12.2:1. CTR pistons are the cheapest way to improve performance. No mods will be require to fit these with B18C.

Is this safe though?? for that high of compression on lets say 94 octane gas??, and with a b16a1 head??

Thanks guys..

Oh cool so just using stock 98specR rods will be fine eh...sounds great! Yeah he's gonna get his ECU reprogrammed and fine tuned for his block and head....

Also he will use Toda head gasket, I believe it's 0.6mm thick?

Is there a difference between the strokes of the JDM B18C and the USDM B18C5? I was under the impression, and from the multiple calculations (not calculators), that the CTR pistons will raise compression to 11.8:1, not 12.2:1. You would go to 12.1/12.2:1 by using a 1 layer head gasket.
