When will be the cut off for banquet money & registration? I'm not sure if the old lady can come or not yet....I might have to bring someone different instead

the people that arent planning on attending the banquet for food and whatever else is involved, dont need to sign up or anything right? they can just show up and hang out without signing up or registering, correct?

RTW - I talked to Dave about this....I was thinking the registration could be modified to state:

Registration.....what to you plan on doing?

Racing & Banquet
Just Banquet
Just hanging out

That way, you could have the registration state: 100 Type Rs signed up for Expo, 80 Racing, 20 just hanging out. Just an example....so you know how many Type Rs to expect. I know the Triad kR3w from NC is just driving up to watch, so they are not on the registration list. I believe there are 90 Type Rs signed up right now, but this doesn't include those who will just be driving up to hang out. If the registration included those just hanging out, the Type R # could grow to over 100!!

Anyone planning to GO to the banquet should plan to register and pay.

I have enough on my hands thanto try and keep track of 100+ people and who did and didn't pay. This will matter when free prizes start being given out. Banquet only people will get prizes, drivers/banquet peeps will get NICE prizes and people who don't pay won't get anything.

I don't see a reason people would come to the banquet and not pay $25. Seems minimal.

You guys checked the registration yet? It does show who is coming to NOT drive and who is coming to drive. For the most part if you have an R and are coming to watch then we figure you will be at the banquet.

The Non driving R's are displaying in the Numbers now.

This may have been covered, but is there by chance a non-PayPal option?

what day is the banquet? Im guessing sat night or sunday sometime. the reason I ask is because I have a bunch of friends that might be willing to just come and hang out, watch some "racing", check out the tech sessions and dyno runs, etc, and I need to know if they need to sign anything(meaning they wouldnt be able to get past the front gate without being on the "list") or if they can just to show up. I hope you understand what Im trying to say here.

if they are not eating/attending the banquet, then they are more than welcome to show up and enjoy the festivities (except for the banquet ).

Gotcha now. banquet is Saturday night.

Majority of the festivities are planned for Saturday. They can get in the gate no problem and we will have waiver for them to sign when they arrive just like at an Auto-X.

Do you guys think we should encourge people (for those who come to Hangout/watch or just attend Banquet) to " car-pool". I mean we want as many ITR as possible, but I just concern if we have TOO MANY other car drive around the paddock, that may create some problem as well as safety concern.

I just hope BeaverRun has a huge parking lot/ free space for the tech session, dyno and parking.

We are getting a layout of the available facilities and will be laying out where things will be happening. One thing we know for sure. Drivers will have a private paddock area. Peopel will be allowed to walk around it but only drivers can have cars in the area.

I am going to add a field to it when I have a second..

"How many are coming with you (not including yourself)"

I would hope that even those not going to the banquet will register as a non-driver.. this is why there is a value of "0" in the "# of banquet dinners" field
