Default Serious Turbo Question

I have read a lot of Comments on Turbo and how expensive it's going to be for upkeep. Is this true for a Stock 1.6 SOHC Vtec with a Greddy kit. Nothing changed besides the clutch and a Turbo Timer? I know it will require oil changes more frequently but what other cost will arise?

you'll want more power and your car will become a bottomless pit in which you will pour all of your money into. not quite....but someone will agree with me on this.

Ditto. I wish I had never even modded my car, forreal. I wish my car was stock and I'd be rich. Stay away, as far away as possible......

Ok, I do apologize for not including the reason. My wife has a 98 Civic Ex. She bought the car new and she wants MORE power. I ran the A/H/E on my 95 civic I had before and it's not enough. She wants a more go. So I figured stick with the basic setup and just change the oil more often. But as far as you guys no the car should run decent and as long as I take care of it she should be good to go?

Thanks For The Help
