OK about 3 months ago I posted here. I was told to let my car warm up till the idle is bouncy then shut off reset ECU then go. OK I do this and the idle then is perfect. After it is warm and about 3 min being at full temp then it will idle the same as always. Im also thinking it might get into its bouncing idle when I put a high current load on it.

Any ideas on problem:

The history is I replaced my headgasket and put everything back on there and it wont idle now It idle perfect before. Im thinking intake manifold gasket? cause i didnt replace it. But it does idle perfet till about 3 min after warm up every time

 

I have/had this problem and it drove me nuts! I replaced all vacuum lines, new plugs, cleaned out the tb, and still idled like crap. Last week I found out that had no compression in cyl 1 & 4 due to a blown (new) head gasket!

 

well i just took the head off to take some measurements and I didnt get a new headgasket so im thinking that might be it....

 

just put a Y8 headgasket on it and see if that fixes it. Every time a hrad is removed the gasket NEEDS to be replaced.
