Am I correct in guessing the 97 ITR came with no rear wiper? If so, can anyone verify something for me... The hatch lining, on my car (94 GSR) that came with a rear wiper there is a bulge there where the rear wiper motor goes. On cars with no wiper is there or is there not a bulge?

I looked it up on http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net (Tailgate Lining section) and all Integras used the same part number.

That damn bulge seems to always get in the way when I put bigger things in the hatch (boxes, motors, etc).

I may have to just cut it out, or I guess I could pop the panel off when I carry big stuff... why didn't I think of that before?

'94-'97 RS and '97 ITR are the only DC2 Tegs w/o the rear wiper assembly.

 

Rear wipers are the cool.

i'm pretty sure that the only integra that ever came without a rear wiper was the 97 R...atleast that was what i've seen and been told.

 

I'm pretty sure the earlier RS models(94-97) did not come w/ rear wipers, also. don't know about later year models... or did they even offer RS models in later years.

Don't know about the bulge in the underside liner, though.

 

<U>ALL</U> integras come with a rear wiper except for maybe the 97 R. I have a 96 rs and it had a rear wiper so I would know. I love how people try to make up information. I all the panles have the hump for the windshield wiper.
