the ultimate sleeper would have 15" or 14" wheels because they understand gearing lengthens with bigger wheels

I'm an old guy, remember ? I like certain cars in the weeds as much as the next guy BUT I have slightly different tastes in some areas and I have a thing for "Salt Flat" racers and Moon wheel discs. You know, "old school"? I did a mock up of a 4th Gen down in the weeds with 17" Moon discs on it. I like it, I want it, I'm gonna do it.

Didn't figure the Bonneville thing had too many followers here but I never was one to follow the herd. Like my original sig said, "I've never dared to be different, I just am." When people see and here an Accord with loud music blaring out of it they expect to see some kid with hip-hop booming out of it not some middle aged fart with Led Zeppelin or Metallica cranked to just short of "total distortion". Who in there right mind puts Moon discs on a Honda ?

Ahhhh, but who said I was in my right mind ?

in the newest issue of SCC there is an advertisement for weld racing, releasing the lightest 17" wheel for sport compacts... i looks pretty similar to what you are talking about, i looked on their website but it doesnt look up to date.

Not a DAMN thing, people will still be listening to Zeppelin 200 years from now............ I've been listening to it for 33 years , first LP I ever bought was Led Zeppelin II in 1969.
